And I'm off.

Like I noted before, starting tomorrow, I will be off for half a year
to Lombok. While I'm very happy going there (just like when I went to
Egypt), the internet connection there might be questionable.

So until I get back, I hope you all be nice here and won't give
Xia a hard time. For posting I'll try to put something up when I
can, but nothing promised.

For those who are interested, I made a site which I will use as my
own blog. Made to be light and easy to load. I heard that it can take
up to 15min at an internet café there to open Hotmail.

So if I can I'll keep track at De Volkeren Krant.

Female Figure Drawing 1

Here today I just started doing some female figure drawing... rather then doing my classical creatures and stuff! Obviously for the purpose that this community is for the public I added some black boxes--- to cover.

I hope that you like it and feel free to suggest me anything that will help me improve...

2. Originally I wanted to keep my focal point on the face but I fell in the trap of getting into a bit of detail... If you know any good methods on how I can make loose body to keep the main point on the head, feel free to post! Xia usually does this and I really like it! :)

Really Cool Software: Alchemy

Hi. I want to tell you about this awesome software called Alchemy. You might already have heard of it. Here's what they say at their web page:

"Alchemy is an open drawing project aimed at exploring how we can sketch, draw, and create on computers in new ways. Alchemy isn’t software for creating finished artwork, but rather a sketching environment that focuses on the absolute initial stage of the creation process. Experimental in nature, Alchemy lets you brainstorm visually to explore an expanded range of ideas and possibilities in a serendipitous way. "

Andrew Jones is using this program a lot and have affected the development quite a bit. I also know that Barontieri is using it a bit. I've been using this software since version 5 I think. It's good for generating ideas. Look at the forum and the gallery on their web page and you'll see what I mean.

Well here is some more, this time in trusted Illustrator again.
I had this one, or at least a draft of this in mind for some time
so now I finally got to it.



4th of May its Remembrance of the Death again, which it is each
year here in the Netherlands. A time when we remember the fallen
from WW2.

Bueno, es la unica pose que “domino”, lo subi para mostrar un poco la evolucion en el trazo. Nótense el detalle del cabello y de los ojos. Para lo del cabello pase varias veces el pincel en tres tonos de marrón, despues pase una franja blanca y le di el efecto de cabello con la herramienta dedo. Para los ojos, utilice un tono de marrón, despues aplique la herramienta de sobreexposición, y luego le di el tonito blanco.
Pero ¿Quien es Bijain? Nada mas y nada menos que el jefe de los portadores de las esferas de Caos (Sogetsu, Kasuki y Alliance). Fue el primero en despertar el espiritu de las esferas.
Su mision primordial es proteger y velar por el descanso de Caos y el de buscar a los seres capaces de despertar los dragones de las esferas, hasta el momento solo ha encontrado a Sogetsu y Kasuki, aunque por mandato de Caos, este le otorgo la esfera de dos estrellas a Alliance el saiyajin.
