Seated King

Some sketch I did today of a seated king. I have a small plan in my mind to take this a bit further, but for now this is it! I want to practice more to try no to fall in the classical trap of refining and zooming in.

Peace!

Hello everyone, I'm new to the community, but I've followed it for some time. There's some talented artists on this board, so I'd like to start sharing my work! :D

I thought I'd make my first post relevant to the site! I kind of stylized this oddly, but it was drawn from a reference. There's some things I'd like to change in the rendering (necklol), but overall I'm fairly happy with it.

King of the Craving

He's got that bold and sassy look that says:

"I wanna clogg your arteries baby"

IDrawGirls My progression...

For those new members and followers, as Xia suggested me to do, here is something to show the progression of my drawings ever since I came here and started to take Xia's tutorials and tips seriously. Hope to see others work in the future as well.

Idrawgirls too?!

To show my gratitude Xia!

Hi there, this is just a quick environmental sketch I did in a couple of minutes. I dedicated it to the owner of this main site - Xia! Just a small thing to thank you for the great help and feedback!
One thing is that on PS the colors weren't like this but when uploaded they kinda changed a bit... anyways, hope you get the intention bro!

Thanks again!

Wanna Give This Guy A Hug?

The theme this week for Sugar Frosted Goodness was "Bear", and it started me thinking: "Whatever happened to those adorable CareBears that I used to watch as a kid?"

And sure enough......that.

Land Shark

This week's challenge on Sugar Frosted Goodness was "Fish", so I decided to ask myself this question:

"What's worse than a shark?

A: One that knows how to engineer land invasion technology

Boutique 616 Featuring She Hulk

This is the cover of a story that I'm writing with a friend of mine. It has to do with a ladies clothing shop in the Marvel Universe. I mean, all those ladies have to get their clothes someplace. Look for the pages to start showing up pretty soon.
Not to toot my own horn, I'm a pretty humble guy, but I think this has to be one of my best pieces done this year. Well now I have to top it.
The mighty amazon here is She-Hulk.
Enjoy!

Dave Matthews SpeedPaint

After seeing so many glorious speed-paints from Xia and the rest of the idrawgirls Community, I finally decided to take a crack at one. Its a 45 minute long painting of the lead singer of Dave Matthews Band, one of my favorite musical groups that has a new album coming out on June 2. I think I'm starting figure out what Luca told me about "where to add hard lines so that the picture doesn't look blurry and smugged", so I'd like to thank him for tipping me off with that little bit of advice. Opinions and advice are more than welcome.

Have a Good One,

V's Anna (new V series)

This is a painting I did this afternoon of Morena Baccarin character Anna from the new "V" series starting next year on ABC network. I wanted to show behind her beautiful smile there was a monster waiting underneath!
Done in Photoshop.
