Hi, everyone. I'm Shiro, 18. It's cool to be a part of this site.
I used reference for her face so the lighting of her body and face don't match too well but, hope you all enjoy it.

Hello guys my name is Raul, this is my first digital art work... well first painting too, Iv never actually painted or colored my drawings, I've been using my pen pad for about 2 weeks, Im looking forward to learning from you guys and I hope i can get some advice and some critical comments.

Somethin' I made for the weekly theme on Sugar Frosted Goodness, which was "Bliss". I also have an important question to ask all of you more experienced artists out there, and it concerns image files. So far, the best image files that do well for posting artwork are PNG and JPEG, and usually I find myself preffering PNG. Other artists on the web always post there stuff in JPEG, and they've usually told me that its the basic standard for posting art on the web. However, when I try to post things in JPEG, the image becomes all pixelly and less coherent than it would be if I post in PNG. I don't know if this is a resolution issue or not, because honestly I can' make things in high res. with the computer that I have. Can any of you inlighten me on what I should and how stuff like image files work? I would be eternally gratefull to anyone who could help me out.
Sincerely,
Nick Fechter

Haven't posted any artwork here in a little while but I'm back with my meaner, darker version of the Looney Toones character, Yosemite Sam. Hope you like it and I'll try to post here a little more. I love this site. Thanks =)

Ever known what it feels like to find a crisp 100$ bill in the middle of the street? Ask that guy, he knows.

Since Luca did a portrait of Bruce Lee, I figured I'd do the same. I hope you like it :)

Since last time Xia got my attention, here is a portrait of the legendary Bruce Lee... I have to tell you that when I scanned it, it lost its quality (even @300dpi). I don't know why but the one I have on paper is much better then this one... still, I hope you like it!
Peace!
Here is a piece that was commissioned by an VP over at Arcana comics. These are some of their top heroines. Banzai Girl, Eve Vampire Diva, and Koni Wave. All hand drawn by your's truely.
Hi there, here are some (useless) drawings I did a couple of days ago while watching TV... nothing of special, but I thaught of sharing them with you over here!

Hope at least you like one!

This is my first post. I shouldn't let you guys have all the fun... =) I tried life painting digitally for the first time, which allowed me to get some much-needed practice with color and how it relates to value/form.
The first pose was 45 minutes, and the second one about 20 minutes. I used Painter X and my latop/wacom tablet.
As you can see the color temperatures and tonal ranges are quite different between the two, despite being from the same scene. I started with an arbitrary background color for each and focused on judging the relative color values and temperatures. I'm not sure if that's how real painters do it, but at least it doesn't fail the squint test...
Here's a drawing of good ol' Beowulf, the fabled monster slayer of Danish lore. It took me about 2 hrs, any advice or opinions that anyone is willing to give would be much appreciated.

heres a random character i created just for fun, i call her candy lol.

Here is a following tutorial to my spider robot. Yep I know it is not perfect but I am just messing around with the new screen record software. LOL first time I render out it was 21gb big but I manage to crank it down to 60mb^^And now I can further more produce loads of tutorials muhahahaha!! Oh man I need to get some sleep I havent slept in 2 days.
The good fights evil in an epic scenery.
I entered this for the competition at Deviant Art and I liked how this turned out. I'm trying to improve on every painting I do. The picture is entirely painted except for the small windows and stuff which are parts of photos.
I used Photoshop only and took a me a bit more than 3 hours to paint.
Hope you like it :)
(my DA account is pokepetter.deviantart.com if you want know but I don't check i too often.)
