Red Guard
Here's a new one. I tried to make it somewhat of a manga style.
Red Guard; from 1966 to 1968 this name was used for the soldiers from Mao Zedong's Red Army.
demon soldier

OK i did this like 2 months ago as a armour concept i tried making the shoulder plates out of some sort of animal skulls.
i will do the black manta soon, i thought i would post some old stuff first.

Black MantRa
Black Manta -> Black MantRa, came from a misread. Made me come up with this one:
(a mantra or mantras are religious Sanskrit chants, most found in Buddhism and Hinduism)

How to post in the idrawgirls Community.
After some questions on how to get posting in the community, some help:
How to post, in 14 easy steps.
You find your self on the community page and you also want to show
some of you work, but how?
1
In you upper right, there are two links: Create Blog or Sign In.
Click Create Blog.
If you already have a Blogger or Google account go to step 10.
2
Fill the highlighted area's. Your display name is the same name
that's used in your posts.
3
Depending on if you really want to start a blog next to this or not,
you can fill in a name and link for your blog. (if you won't any random
link could do)
4
Pick a template you like.
5
So well now you got a blog and with it the account you need, well almost.
6
After clicking start blogging, you get the post screen for your own blog.
7
But before we are all done, we need to activate our new account. You should
have received an email with an activation link. Be sure to check you spambox also.
8
After clicking the link we can see that we got a Google account, which is the
same as a blogger account (Blogspot is a part of the Google Empire).
9
After we continue we get to the Dashboard. Basically we got the whole basis
we need now.
10
Now to get you into the community, you need to be invited. You can call out
in the shoutbox or mail Xia at xiataptara@hotmail.com and ask him kindly to
invite you. Alternatively, when you don't feel so kind you can try me at
guiltyguild@afrofm.nl
11
After you got invited (this may take some time since it needs to be done
manually) you should get an email like this. Be sure to check you spambox also.
12
Follow the link and accept the invitation.
13
Now we have two blogs in our Dashboard. Now to post, click: + New Post or
View Blog and use the upper right link we used also in step 1, which has changed now.
14
So now we get the same screen as in step 6, only now it will post to the
community instead of you own blog.
Good luck posting you work.
Also for those who need a place to host there work, www.photobucket.com
is a very useful site for easy and free image hosting.
Howdy folks, first time posting here - happy to be on board, there's some great stuff here - thanks to Xia for the charitable invite to join -
This a sketch done in marker, from a photo -
Winged elvish....hmm...something;p
I try to improve and i think that if I practise i"ll be someone;P
Now, my drawings are shitty but i'm practising:)
Oh, and here is my old manga sketch, proportions are crazy, but i think it makes this picture
funnier and better, i really like it, and i hope that you too:)
That's all,
Best wishes:)
Kenti:)

The Peoples Press
Ok, so after a few posters I thought to give it a face.
Known as: The Peoples Press.
ok, so I was a little bored today at work ;)
Setting up a Intuos 3 Wacom Tablet for wide screen
Ok, here is how to setup an Intuos 3 Wacom tablet, for people that have a wide screen.
This is the start screen as soon as we launch the Wacom Driver.
Goto Tablet-Screen relation (my driver is in Dutch).
By default the settings will be set to Full, as we can see in the illustration.
But since we are using a wide screen, the horizontal movement
is slower than the vertical movement, which can (is) very annoying.
The solution: turn the Force Proportions option on.
The only minor thing is that we lose a part of our tablet.
Well so far for solving the proportion problem.
Now as an option you can also choose for a "QuickPoint"
on your lower left or right of your tab (the option I use).
Found under tablet area.
And for those who still think they have to much tablet left:
In this function you can also turn on the Force Proportions.
But personally I found that with an A4 size tablet, there is no need for
proportion forcing.
If there any questions ext, just let me know.

Dare to fight, dare to win.
Well here is the newest addition to the propaganda series:
Something new this time, a Chinese one. I tried to go with a more
field like poster than the full colour ones, which are more common though.
I think it did come out well, like I wanted.
Text reads "dare to fight, dare to win".
Also made in Illustrator like the other ones.

Hitman, er, woman
I haven't really done this kind of thing before. I usually stick with creatures and 3d models, but my gestures are getting better, so I figure stuff like this could only help. Any ways tell me what you think.
Well here is a quick sketch:
Hauptmann in parade tunic.
Glad we got a community here, keeps me going :).
Peace!
* We have reached the member cap of blogspot and haven't found any solution jet. If you know any, let us know. *
