Ok so some of you might still remember the Dragon I posted some time ago.
Now here is the actual project I was working on:
This one is made exclusively using Illustrator. Mainly the Mesh Tool.
No Photoshop or Fireworks.
Here is the Vector view of the previous image.
If I ever get the time I might try to put together a tutorial. Also I should note
that this doesn't fall under anything with "speed".

Nice work, Kunckles930. This is more complex then last you posted (the Dragon). Meshing tool looks like 3D modeling. You apply for the entire image or for each object separately?
For each part you make a new mesh. Model it and than apply the colour.
Every mesh starts from a box, that you shape into the model you need.
Very time consuming, but the result can be very nice and you can afterwards resize it to any given size, without losing on the resolution.
From a box? This is hard, men.It could be really helpful and easy if you already have some customized template mesh....like human body, car, gun, etc.
Custom templates wouldn't make a difference since you still need to shape it into the form you need.
And since each thing is different you have to make a new model.
Well its hard to explain, but if I have the time I might try to tape it with a more simple object.
Am thinking of doing a watch or something for such.
