Hi there. It's not that bad after all... I recommend you to make some studies on the nose anatomy. Her nose has an unnatural shadow. Also if you want to make something transparent, what I can recommend you is to paint everything normally, then get the color/ value that's underneath or behind and paint over the object. you have to decrease the opacity of the brush so that the color gets in softly. It'll work fine.
Keep up the good work and hope to see more of your work frequently :)
Welcome to the blog bro, you'll deffinetly learn ALOT about art if you keep posting. You're off to a pretty good start when it comes to digital art, but I assure you that if you pratice regulary then you will deffinetly see results in the near future. Ask for your above works, the eye cavity on the zombie girl doesn't have much depth or detail to it, maybe if you worked on it alittle more she would have a more realistic apearance (you can use some photo ref if you want). The ghost soldier could use some refinement, then when you've finished him you can lightly paint over his righside with the background color like Luca said. You should deffinetly work on these some more (remember, its never impossible to save a drawing).
