Woman in red
My first attempt at drawing a human in Photoshop. I'm not sure whether I prefer the coloured or the BW version best.
Hi there! Welcome! I think it's not a matter of colour or black-white... it's more on getting the right values. Once you get those nailed down, no matter if you leave it b/w or coloured, it'll be awesome!
Thanks. :) I'm not 100% pleased with the values, but I had set a 30 minute deadline on myself, and when I spent the last 5 minutes redoing and fixing stuff and not getting any improvements I figured it was as done as I could make it.
I'll probably get a different result on my next go, starting from scratch.
Luca is right. You might also want to move the mouth a bit more the her left and adjust the size of the left eye a little bit to go with the perspective.
