What is your daily drawing routine?

For those who are seriously into drawing and want to get better - I presume you guys draw daily, everyday perhaps?

If so... what is your drawing routine for improvement?

I know Xia said three hours a day ...and a life drawing session or two...

Recently, I've been doing random sketches and using drawings and references from other books...

I've been having fun...

But now I'm stuck - what do I draw, next - what should I be drawing? How long? I don't want to start a big piece of art work - but rather something small but effective.

I didn't want to post without a picture so...

Here's a picture I did while sitting in bed, 30 minutes!

I know that i could do it better  but... i will try next time :P

Hi there, today it's my birthday and I'm 20... I just did a quick concept sketch inspired by the comic book "Shanna-She Devil". For me drawing is a good way to keep myself motivated, so even today I kept my drawing routine! :)

My first post

Hello everyone. Xia has graciously invited me to start posting here. My name is Ed Hall and I'm a syndicated cartoonist and illustrator from Jacksonville Florida. I hope I can throw some stuff up here that you find interesting. This one is from a series I'm currently working on where I pause a DVD at an interesting still shot, and then sketch directly off the TV from across the room. I got this idea from Glen Fabry's awesome book Muscles in Motion. A good read - highly recommended reading. I hope that the skin tone is correct this time... or at least better. Xia you can't imagine how many times I've watched that portrait tut. If she's not correct, then I must improve only with time cause I'm practicing too much I believe! :)

I'm interested in realistic illustrations, so i like to do things like this. I like this picture because i need train whit shadows and finally, i think that i meet my goal.

Anatomy Study

You never really learn to apreciate how complex the human body is until you try to paint it, and how difficult it can be. I'll admit that this one gave me a good challenge, and I'll be attempting to make others like it in the near future.
