in order to go far u must do life drawing.its the best way to learn.u will not learn things as much from a photo as u will learn from life drawing.the knowledge u will gain from life drawing is precious.that thing fill up the missing things in your drawing.life drawing will improve your observation.u will be able to see the curves,light and shade and many other things that u have not noticed yet. even xia always speak of life drawing in his every tutorial.always keep a sketch pad with u.your skills in other mediums will improve if u will do life drawing.but remember if u willstart life drawing,u will not get good results on the beginning.but u hve to be patience and keep practicing.remember one thing,life drawing does not mean making beautiful drawings,its a method to gain and record knowledge for your own benefit.good luck
