Wow! Great piece. You really capture the lighting in this scene fantastically. I would've made it a bit bigger. Perhaps adding some figures would really help create a sense of scale to the piece.
this is indeed a nice piece, i like the mood very much.
i can see that you went for the orange/blue comp colors, very cool :) but maybe there should be a little bit more blues in there, maybe on the building structure, add some clouds perhaps? for some more depth to the sky. and the spaceship value can be tone down just a little as now it pops out the same as the rocky foreground.
but aside from that, the mood is really great. i hope you take this to the next level as a full blown rendered scene :)
