this took quite a while to do couple hours or so
just some random creature i created giving it the name
night crawler , probably due to the fact it has no eyes.
threw in a couple of veins, textured the skin, to bing it more to life.
i mainly tried focusing on getting the value right.

ReplyDeleteLooks like a hybrid of H.R.Geigers work and a creature from H.P.Lovecraft's books. ^_^
The onlything about it I DON'T love is the nearest front-leg/arm. If you look at the value of it compared to the nearer back-leg it looks as if it's pulled WAY backwards underneath it's belly in a really weird angle.
Didn't really think of this until I sat down to analyze the image, though, so it's not really a big deal.
yeah i just realised i put a bit too much texture brushing there, and shouldve defined the leg a little more to bring it forward, ill make a colour verison and fix that up if i have time.
